The Undercrown Shade builds on the same concept from the original Undercrown - a creation of the torcedores working the factory floor in Esteli, Nicaragua. You see, they were smokin’ more Liga Privada Cigars than they were rolling. Drew Estate brass kindly asked for them to stop smoking through the inventory, so they came up with this solution. A cigar featuring many of the rare tobaccos used in Liga Privada but with a little twist - different primings and vintages. The Undercrown Shade is a reimagining of sorts, featuring a beautiful Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade wrapper in place of the San Andres Maduro. The blend consists of tobacco from the Dominican Republic and Nicaragua. These tobaccos work together to create a tantalizing tasting experience of cinnamon toast, honey, nuts, and sweet cream.
